Criteria for online counseling: Online counseling is a convenient method for those who travel, have
limited time available, or are not able to leave their homes. Face to face counseling should be the first
choice, but sometimes that is not possible. You should always have a licensed professional in your area
that you can contact in case of an emergency. This method of counseling is not appropriate for those who
are experiencing suicidal and/or homicidal thinking or planning, severe depression, active hallucinations, or
unstable mood disorders.
Description of Services
Individual Counseling: One on one counseling to address and number of issues. The initial session is a clinical
assessment and goal setting process. Sessions are usually one hour long.

Prenuptial Counseling:  This is an excellent way to set up a new relationship on a solid foundation. Each
individual, and they as a couple, look at issues that face couples. Evaluate the relationship and address anything
that could be a problem later on. Learn to communicate better, learn how to work as partners, learn how to be whole
individuals that want to be a healthy couple. Work out the differences
before  getting married. Sessions are one
hour long.

Couples Counseling: The initial session is a clinical assessment with goal setting. Focus is on getting the couple
back on track. There will be split time during some sessions where each person is seen individually, and then
together. It is skills building in nature to help the couple nurture, repair, or strengthen the relationship. Sessions are
one hour long.

Marital Counseling: Sessions will address marital issues the couple is facing. The initial session is a clinical
assessment with goal setting. It is skills building in nature and focuses on each individual and the martial relationship.
Sessions are one hour long.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR): EMDR is a wonderful therapeutic method that very
successfully helps a person process difficult issues and disorders. While in the beginning it was used mainly for
PTSD, it now used for a broad spectrum of issues, including performance enhancement. You can find many articles
and information about EMDR online.

Anger Management: This program specifically addresses angry behavior that cause problems in a person life. It is
didactic and skills building in nature. There is a workbook that must be purchased by the first session. Session time
will vary.

Stress Management: This program addresses general stress, anxiety, and panic. It is designed to address the
needs an individual. Skills and techniques are introduced to relieve and/or eliminate physical manifestations of
stress. A zero gravity chair and guided imagery is just one approach to dissolve high stress. This is a program that
specifically addresses angry behavior that cause problems in a person life. It is didactic and skills building in nature.
There is a workbook that must be purchased by the first session. Session time will vary. Session time will vary.

Hypnosis: A speciality that address any number of personal issues.  See hypnosis page.

Conflict Resolution: Learn more effective ways to get want you need or want without being aggressive. Learn how
to fight fair with more positive outcomes. This is a program that specifically addresses angry behavior that cause
problems in a person life. It is didactic and skills building in nature. There is a workbook that must be purchased by

Corporate Employee Intervention: Employers can give their employees a chance to change unwanted behaviors,
attitudes, or interaction. This teaches the employ new ways to interact with others on the job.

EAP Services: Check with your employer about EAP services. These services are usually a free service and do not
require a clinical diagnosis.
